Ordering numbers to 20

In maths, the green group have been learning about numbers to 20!

We have been learning to count to 20.

We have been learning and practicing how to put numbers in order to 20. 

St Patrick's Day

Happy St Patrick's Day!! 

Today we learnt about St Patrick and how he told people about God in Ireland. We learnt about the Shamrock leaf and how it represents the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

St Patrick died on March 17th and that is why we celebrate all the wonderful things he did on this day every year.

Shrove Tuesday

On Tuesday 4th March, it was Shrove Tuesday. We didn't know what Shrove Tuesday was, so we learnt about it and then we made pancakes!

           Here we are looking at the ingredients that we need to make the pancakes.

                                   

                  Here is Matthew sifting the flour.

 Angel is having a turn at sifting the flour to get all the lumps out.

                             the eggs and sugar together. 

                    Seihara is mixing all the dry and wet

 ingredients together.

Our pancakes were delicious!!

We had fun making and eating our pancakes! We can't wait till Shrove Tuesday next year!

Jesus Meal 2014

In Religious Education we have been learning about Jesus when he was a child so we had a Jesus meal. We ate foods that Jesus ate, we dressed in clothes that Jesus wore and we learnt about games Jesus played when he was a child.

 

Rooms 1, 2 and 3 came together and had a Jesus meal together. We ate oranges, grapes, bread and apples. We wore a tunic, mantle, girdle and sandals. 

We had lots of fun learning about Jesus when he was a child!
